Somali journalist Killed in Mogadishu

Three gunmen shot Ahmed Addow Canshuur One of the Programm Producers of Shabelle Radio Station in Mogadishu, an eye witnesse said they shot the Journalist  several times in the head in Mogadishu’s Dahrkenley district on today.
Ahmed Caddow Canshuur (may God Give Him Peace in his Grave ) was One of the key Journalist working for Shabelle Radio Station and his death comes as another frustration story for the Somali journalists working at this tough conditions.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killing of the Victim Ahmed Caddow Canshur but this is not the first time Somali journalist is Killed on his duty
On January 28, 2012, two men armed with pistols shot Hassan Osman Abdi, the managing director of Radio Shabelle, as he was heading home from work. Abdi, who was also known as Hassan Fantastic, died on the spot.
Somalia, which has not had a functioning government since 1991, is one of the most dangerous places in the world for journalists.
